WINDSOR
The Windsor baseball team earned a trip to the Virginia High School League State Semifinals with a 14-1 win over Rappahannock on Friday evening. The Dukes amassed 12 runs in the first two innings in dealing the the Raiders — the region’s top-seed — their worst loss of the season.

Windsor will next play Fort Chiswell at 10 a.m. on Friday at Radford University. The Pioneers lost the Region 1A West Finals to Eastside, who will face Rappahannock in the other state semifinal. The state championship will be held on Saturday at the same time and location.
