Franklin men’s league reaches semifinals

The 2016 Franklin Department of Parks and Recreations Men’s Basketball League played its semifinal round on Thursday night.

The first game at Peggy Wilkins Gym at Franklin High school was a quarterfinal game won by forfeit, as the Rockets advanced past the Panthers to the semifinal round.
The second quarterfinal game featured Total Care knocking off the Shooters, while the Game 3 saw the North Carolina Fire defeat Total Care ion the semifinals
The Rockets beat the Dream Team in the semifinals to end the night, 52-50, in a heavily-contested matchup.
The championship will be held next Thursday, Feb. 25, at Franklin High School. It will pit the Rockets and the favored North Carolina Fire.
