BALTIMORE
Just days after signing a non-guaranteed practice squad contract, former Isle of Wight Academy and James Madison University wide receiver Daniel Brown was terminated from the Baltimore Ravens in order for the team to sign another player. Brown, who scored two touchdowns and blocked a punt in three preseason games, was deemed expendable when the team re-signed cornerback Asa Jackson.

“I don’t think that my time with the Ravens is over for good,” Brown said. “I met with the coach and he said that he would like to have me back when things get figured out. If that doesn’t happen, it has been an amazing experience being a part of a great organization. Hopefully everything will work out, whether it’s in Baltimore or not.”
