The 2015 registrations have been so successful for the Cover 3 Youth Football and Cheer League that the Cover 3 foundation has extended the date to Sept. 30.

The extension will give more parents an opportunity to register their children. Slots are filling quickly on all teams. To ensure that your child has the opportunity to participate on the team of their choice, attend our next registration to be held on July 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Registration will be held at Cover 3 Foundation, 125 S. College Drive, Franklin.

Registration with C3YFCL is open to all children between the ages of 6 to 12 for cheer and ages 6 to 14 for football. To register your child, please bring a copy of their birth certificate and most recent report card. Registration fees are $20 for cheer, $30 for flag and $40 for tackle.

Children can register with any open team in the league. Registration for Courtland Tide Cheer is closed and the other squads are filling quickly. For anyone wishing to register for cheer squads, please choose one of the remaining area squads before they reach capacity.

The teams for the 2015 season are as follows: Courtland Tide, Holland Razorbacks, Riverdale Chiefs, Meherrin Pirates and Sussex Green Machine.

For the 2015 season, all children are allowed to play for the group of their choice. For questions concerning registration, please contact 562-2252.
