WINDSOR
The Windsor co-ed soccer team won its seventh game in a row on Monday evening, defeating Southampton, 3-nil. Jacob Watson, Jordan Cobb and Chaz Pennington each recorded a goal for the Dukes.

The game was tied until only eight minutes remained, said assistant manager Alex Cole.

“The first two [goals] came within a minute of each other; the third one a minute after that,” he said. “They kind of stayed neutral at first, but they got way more aggressive at the end.”

The week prior, Windsor knocked of ARGS, 4-nil, and Brunswick, 3-1, to move to 7-2 on the season. The team will be back in action on Monday evening, traveling to Emporia to play Greensville County. The final home game of the season will be May 20 against Park View. Senior Night festivities will kick off at 5:30 p.m.
