The Franklin High School Lady Broncos showed big improvement in play during the second match of the season on Thursday, April 16, at the Southampton High School tennis courts, but when the final match was over, the home team took an easy 8-1 win.

FHS No. 1 Brianna Karmilovich notched the only victory for the Lady Broncos with an 8-3 win against Marena Vick. Qwaniesha on the No. 4 court battled for about 1.5 hours with A’Roya Reese, but ended up going down 9-7.

Vick and her teammate Carrie Beale got to return the favor in doubles, defeating Brianna and her sister Erin 8-5. Beale also defeated Erin in singles 8-4.
