WINDSOR
On Thursday evening, the Windsor High School Dukes were on the wrong side of a 7-6 TriRivers District game against Greensville County High School.

Windsor went ahead 6-5 in the bottom of the sixth with a three-run inning. The Eagles were not ready to be put away, however, and the bottom of the order contributed a pair of runs in the top of the seventh. Windsor was shut down 1-2-3 in the bottom of the seventh to give Greensville the victory.

The Dukes’ Corey Childress had a good day at the plate in the loss, batting 2 for 3 with a walk. He had 1 RBI and scored a run. Hunter Williams had one hit on the day, but it was a double in the first that plated two runs.

On Tuesday, April 21, the Dukes (3-2) will travel down Route 258 to play the Franklin High School Broncos (0-3). The game begins at 4:30 p.m.
