On Monday, the Southampton High School Indians got out in front of the Windsor High School Dukes and cruised to a 56-45 victory.

Both teams shot below 40 percent overall, and rebounding was about even. The Dukes won at the free throw line, but they barely cracked 60 percent from the line, making 13 out of 21. The Indians, however, won the turnover battle and made eight three-point baskets in helping them seal the 11-point victory.

Southampton’s Shane Agunzo led the Indians in scoring with 10 points, nine of those from three-point land. Darius Bell and Hunter Peck each contributed nine, and Bell had 10 rebounds, five assists and one block. Cedric Parham had two blocks and six points.

Windsor’s Malcolm “Woody” Greene led all scorers with 15 points, and he also had nine rebounds. Quinten Winnegan had nine points and five assists for the Dukes. Chris Funai made three of eight from three on his way to his nine points.

Windsor will travel to Franklin on Wednesday, and Southampton will host Park View on Wednesday. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. for both games.
