Lady Dukes earn victory against Southampton

The Windsor High School Lady Dukes played team basketball and were able to clear out the benches in a TriRivers District basketball match when they defeated the Southampton High School Lady Indians Friday night, 57-47.

Bridgette Walton led the way for the Dukes with 24 points and six rebounds. Vonquisha Turner had 15 points and four rebounds. Kim Adams blocked four shots and also had six rebounds.

The Lady Dukes, who improved to 7-4 on the season, will host the Franklin High School Broncos today, Jan. 21. Tipoff is at 7 p.m.
