SUSSEX
The Windsor Lady Dukes began their season on the road last Friday against the Lady Tigers of Sussex 36-12 in a TriRivers District basketball match.

The Dukes jumped out to a 7-2 lead in the first quarter and never looked back, eventually adding 14 points in the fourth quarter to take the win.

Andrea Magba led the Lady Dukes in scoring with 12, Bridgette Walton had 5 assists, and Vonquisha Turner had 4 steals and 3 blocks.

At home on Monday, the Lady Dukes faced the Appomattox Regional Governor’s School Lady Dragons, and bested them 30-20.

Bridgett Walton led them in scoring with 13 points, along with her 9 rebounds and 3 assists. Andrea Magba also had 13 points to go along with her 14 rebounds and 4 assists.
