Williams earns Player of the Week during postseason

With only two teams left in Western Tidewater, Coby Williams of the Southampton High School Indians took home Western Tidewater’s final Player of the Week honor of the football season.

On Friday, Nov. 14, Williams had Southampton’s lone score against the Poquoson High School Islanders early in the second quarter. He also accounted for the majority of the offensive yards.
On the ground, the Indians had 152 yards, and Williams posted 146 of those over his 23 rushes.
The Indians lost the first round playoff game in Poquoson 28-6.
