Williams earns Player of the Week with big outing

Coby Williams of the Southampton High School Indians is Western Tidewater’s Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 3.

On Friday night in South Hill, Williams put 6 points on the board every third time he touched the ball and averaged 17 yards per carry.
Over 16 touches, he rushed for 271 yards and had 5 touchdowns.
Southampton was playing the Park View Dragons on the road, and they dominated play, besting them 46-8.
The defense also held the Dragons off the board until the second team entered play.
