ISLE OF WIGHT—Isle of Wight Academy continued its winning ways, taking both ends of a doubleheader from Hampton Christian here Friday, 7-2 and 13-1.
Adam Webb and Alec Wonders started the games and earned wins for IWA, which has won seven consecutive games after starting the year 1-4.
The Chargers are in second place in the league; Shores, in first. IWA dropped a 6-5 contest to Shores last month. The conference tournament began on Tuesday, continues pm Thursday and Friday.
