WHS boys tennis defeats SHS

WINDSOR—On Thursday, April 10, the Windsor High School boys tennis team played Southampton High School on the Windsor courts by a final score of 9-0.

In Singles, Kyle Hollowell (WHS) defeated Sam McDonald (SHS) 6-0, 6-3 at the No. 1 seed.

No. 2 seed Daniel Klausmeier (WHS) defeated Russell Balance (SHS) 6-0, 6-1.

Ethan Bales (WHS) defeated Ellis Cofield (SHS) 6-4, 6-1 at No. 3 seed.

In No. 3 singles, Derek Klausmeier (WHS) defeated Cedric Everett (SHS) 6-0, 6-0.

Stephen Hurst (WHS) defeated Cam McHenry (SHS) 6-0, 6-1 in No. 5 singles.

Alec Kiser (WHS) defeated Donald Blythe (SHS) 6-1, 6-0 in No. 6 singles.

In Doubles, K. Hollowell/A. Kiser (WHS) defeated McDonald/Balance (SHS) 8-2; Daniel Klausmeier/Derek Klausmeier (WHS) defeated Cofield/Everett (SHS) 8-2; and E. Bales/S. Hurst (WHS) defeated McHenry/Blythe (SHS) 8-0.

The Windsor Dukes boys tennis team’s overall record is 3-1.
