MIDLOTHIAN—Rachel Marie Grider and Jacob Ross Jordan were united in marriage on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, at 4:30 p.m. at the Brandermill Church. Pastor Burt Brooks officiated. Following the ceremony, family and friends enjoyed an evening of dinner and dancing at the Brandermill Country Club.

Rachel is the daughter of Tim and Elaine Grider of Midlothian. She is the granddaughter of Doug and June Grider of Burgess, Va., and Shirley Jones of Bumpass, Va., and the late Walter Jones.

Jacob is the son of Joe and Peggy Jordan of Franklin. He is the grandson of Joe Jordan Jr. and Patricia Jordan of Courtland, and Gladys Atkins of Midlothian, and the late William Atkins.

Following a honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple is residing in Midlothian.
