Isle of Wight gets first conference win

PORTSMOUTH—Isle of Wight Academy notched its first Metro Athletic Conference win Monday night with a 67-52 win against Alliance Christian Academy.
The Chargers’ point output was their highest of the season, and they scored in record-breaking fashion. Their 10 three-pointers was a season high, besting their 6 threes against Peninsula Catholic last month.
Jonathan Lilley had a career-high 18 points, including four three-pointers; classmate Justice Fuller added 17, including five from long range. Bryce Casey had 12 points. Alliance was led by Dominique Corprew’s 17 points. IWA ran its record to 3-11 (1-6 in the Metro); Alliance dropped to 2-16 (1-6).
