WAKEFIELD—Tidewater Academy routed the Virginia Beach Friends School 58-19 at home Saturday.

The Warriors jumped out to an 11-point lead by the end of the first quarter, 17-6, and never looked back, as the score was 35-11 at the half, 48-17 at the end of the third. The Warriors held Friends to 2 points in the fourth, and cruised to a 39-point victory. Elanté Drew led the Warriors in scoring with 18 points. Payton Holdsworth had 13. Marty Gura had 12. Daniel McKenney was the fourth Warrior to score in double digits with 11.

Tidewater Academy improves to 8-1 on the year.
