Windsor loses in close contest at home

WINDSOR—The Windsor girls lost to Southampton High School Wednesday evening 46-44.
In the first quarter, Windsor came out with an early lead, outscoring Southampton 12-9. By the half, Windsor was up 24-19.
But Southampton came out in the third quarter, putting up 17 points, while only allowing 6, to take the lead 36-30.
Windsor came out strong in the fourt quarter, putting up 14, but it wasn’t enough as they fell 46-44.
For Windsor, Bridgette Walton had 18 points, Jazzmine Bynum had 10 points and 8 rebounds, Vonquisha Turner had 7 points, Andrea Magba had 5 points and 20 rebounds, Tierra Rawls had 4 points.
