Franklin to host Windsor

The Broncos will welcome the Dukes to Franklin. Franklin has had one the best weeks of practice and the boys are ready to go, said Coach Darren Parker.

The Dukes have had a good week of practice as well, and their players are ready to show out for senior night, said Coach Chuck Parrish.

“They are very athletic and run multiple formations, and defensively they’re very disciplined,” said Parker about the Dukes’ playing abilities.

Speaking on the Broncos, Parrish said, “They come right at you. They have plenty speed on the run and on defense.”

Raiders take on Eagles

The Southampton Academy Raiders will invite the Northeast Academy Eagles of Lasker, N.C. to play in Courtland. Practice for this week was productive with hitting drills and things to liven up the field, said Coach Dale Marks.

“They have some good athletes,” he said of the Eagles. “We’ll have to play well defensively.”

This is the first playoff game of the season for both of these teams.

Chargers will take

the field in Chesapeake

The Isle of Wight Chargers will go heads up against the Atlantic Shores Christian Seahawks on the road.

At the time of this release, neither of the coaches has given a comment. The game begins approximately at 7 p.m.

Indians to invite

Dragons to Courtland

The Southampton Indians plan to bring the pain against the Park View Dragons who will be traveling from South Hill to Courtland for the game.
