Southampton High School Lady Indians defeated the Lady Eagles of Greensville County Thursday to improve their record to 16-3 overall and 12-0 in district play.

They won the match in three straight sets, 25-13, 25-1 and 25-15.

Grayson Drake had 9 assists and 5 kills. Madeleine Kahle had 11 kills. Samantha Billups was 23 of 23 serving with 7 aces, 9 assists and 1 kill. Jenna Billups was 11 of 11 serving with 1 ace. Kimberly Shaffer had 3 blocks. Nadia Purvis was 12 of 12 serving with 1 ace.

The JV team won in two sets to avenge their only loss on the season. They are 8-1 in the district.
