Lady Dukes win in volleyball

WINDSOR—Multiple assists, digs and kills by the Windsor High girls’ volleyball team gave them double victories this past week, starting with the 3-0 win over Brunswick High on Tuesday. On Thursday, the Lady Dukes had another 3-0 triumph, this time over Greensville High.

Scores on Tuesday were 25-15 in the first set; 25-17 in the second; and 25-8 in the third.

Allison Griggs made 9 kills, 2 digs; Mac Servais had 5 digs, 2 aces; Jessica Blythe made 36 assists; Payton Gay had 3 kills, 3 digs; Kellie Mathews made 15 kills, 2 digs, 2 blocks; Kaylee Smith had 3 kills, 2 digs; Kelsey Searcy made 3 kills, 2 blocks; and Raegan Hasty had 2 kills, 2 blocks.

Scores on Thursday were 25-9 in the first set; 25-8 in the second; and 25-17 in the third.

Allison Griggs had 4 kills, 4 digs, 5 aces; Jessica Blythe made 34 assists, 1 ace; Payton Gay had 4 aces, 3 kills; Kellie Matthews made 18 kills, 2 digs, 3 blocks; and Kelsey Searcy had 3 kills, 1 block.

Windsor’s district record is 9-2; conference 2-0; and overall 11-2.
