MURFREESBORO, N.C.—Down 23-21 with 23 seconds remaining in the game, Chowan University quarterback Cameron Stover went to the air and connected with Antijuan Randall to put the Chowan Hawks ahead in the game. Ryan Simpson scored on a two-point conversion to seal the win for the Hawks 29-21 in a CIAA game on Sept. 28 at Garrison Stadium on the Chowan University campus in Murfreesboro.

Hawks quarterback Cameron Stover passed for 223 yards and two touchdowns during the CIAA game. The Hawks are now ranked No. 2 in the Northern Division of the CIAA with a 2-2 record. The Hawks will be on the road Saturday, Oct. 5 to face the Broncos of Fayetteville State University.
