Windsor Volleyball starts season with win

WINDSOR—Windsor High School Volleyball started off its season on Aug. 29 against Sussex Central. Windsor won the match 3-0.
Windsor won the first set 25-3; the second set 25-7; and the third set 25-4.
After starting off 1-0, Windsor came up short against Parkview on Sept. 3, losing 3-0.
Parkview won the first set 25-16; second set 25-23; and the third set 26-24.
Passing was a huge problem in the loss with 39 defensive errors.
So far, Allison Griggs has 3 kills, 4 digs and 85 percent serving with 1 ace. MaCayla Servais has 5 digs and 100 percent serving. Jessica Blyth has 11 assists. Payton Gay has 7 assists and 100 percent Serving. Kellie Matthews has 13 kills, 3 blocks, 2 aces and 100 percent serving.
Windsor plays Greenville Tuesday, Sept. 10.
