COURTLAND—The Southampton High School Varsity Cub Athletic Banquet took place Thursday night.

Athletes were honored with various awards handed out by coaches, following the dinner.

For Varsity Girls Volleyball, Madeleine Kahle and Kaylee Edwards were named MVPs, and Assist Leaders were Grayson Drake and Samantha Billups.

For Golf, the MVP award went to Billy Britton with Jordan Francis receiving the Most Reliable award.

Samuel McDonald was named MVP for wrestling.

In Field Hockey, Demone’ Brickhouse garnered the MVP Offense award and Alex Nichols, MVP for defense.

For Boy’s Tennis, Samuel McDonald was named MVP and CJ Everett, the medium award.

In football, Lineman of the Year honors went to Mandel Featherson, Offensive Player of the Year to Jamal Johnson and MVP to Cecil Lowe.

For Baseball, Jake Pope was named Offensive Player of the Year; Mason Wright was Defensive Player of the Year and Hayden Spalding MVP.

For Girl’s Tennis, the Rookie Award went to Eve Robertson and the Coach’s Award to Melia Hill.

For Girl’s Softball, Emily Nelson and Demone’ Brickhouse were both named MVPs, Megan Duck received the Offense Award, Madison Cabell received the Defense Award and the Rookie Award went to Zoe Dunlow.

For Football Cheerleaders, Victoria Blow and Jacquelin Dwyer both received Coach’s Awards.

In Cross Country Boys, the top runner was Daniel Lowdermilk and most improved Enoch Westover. For Cross Country Girls, Tabbitha Bruck was named Top Runner and Kelsey Thomas Most Improved.

In Soccer, Alex Dunlow was named Top Scorer; Michael Le named Top Defender and Kevin Watford received the Coach’s Award.

For Basketball Cheerleaders Danyell Owen received the Coach’s Award; Melia Hill garnered the Rookie Award and Dorisa Davis was named Most Enthusiastic.

For Girls Softball, the MVPs were Emily Nelson and Demone’ Brickhouse; Megan Duck received the Offense Award; Madison Cabell received the Defense Award and Zoe Dunlow was named Rookie of the Year.

In Girls Track, the MVP award went to Tabbitha Bruck; Coach’s Awards went to Kirsty Andrew, Travesha Anderson and Jessica Fox; and Katrina Williams was named Best Newcomer.

In Boys Track, Saquan Fenner was named MVP; with Coach’s Awards going to Devine Fenner, Marqi Eaton and Justin Pagan Torres; with Nicholas Stasse named Best Newcomer.

For Girls Basketball, Talisha Jenkins was named Offensive Player of the Year and Brittany Johnson Defensive Player of the Year.

For Boys Basketball, Jamal Johnson was named MVP and Cedric Parham Rookie of the Year.
