Three local private schools ranked in the top five of VISAA division

MIDLOTHIAN—All three Western Tidewater private schools were ranked in the top five of the first Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association Division 3 poll of the 2013 season.

Isle of Wight Academy is ranked No. 2 in the poll. They received 44 points for their 6-2 start, with their only losses coming to a larger Div. 1 school, Norfolk Academy, losing 9-8 on March 23 and 11-0 on March 28.

Southampton Academy is ranked No. 3 in the poll receiving 42 points for their 5-1 start. The Raiders only loss to date came to No. 1 ranked Kenston Forest, 2-1 on March 19.

Tidewater Academy is ranked No. 4 in the same poll receiving 31 points for their 4-2 start.

The Warriors losses came against IWA, 8-4 on March 8, and SA, 3-1 on March 26.
