COURTLAND— Southampton Academy junior Johnny Tribbett scored his second hat trick of the season, as the Raiders defeated Surry High School 6-2 on Friday.

SA improved to 3-0 on the season.

Surry was first on the scoreboard early in the first half, but after that it was the Raiders’ game.

“It was nice to win our first home game in front of a lot of fans,” said SA Coach Jamie Weist. “I thought our team struggled in the first half from just playing Windsor the night before, but everyone finished the game playing well.”

Also leading for the Raiders were senior Zach Best, and juniors Anna Carr and Alex Lippe, each scoring one goal.

The Raiders next host Windsor High School at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20.
