WINDSOR—Southampton High School boys outscored host Windsor by two in overtime for a 55-53 non-district win on Wednesday.
Windsor led by nine most of the game, including at the half. With Southampton down by three, sophomore Cedric Parham was fouled with one second left in the game. A Windsor player slammed the ball and was assessed a technical.
Parham made both free throws, and after making the first foul shot, senior Jamal Johnson missed the second, leaving the score tied at 51. A failed inbound attempt sent the game to overtime.
Southampton got a pair of buckets and ran out the clock.
Johnson scored 23 points and Parham added 15.
