Beahm scores 26 for Tidewater win

WINDSOR—Tidewater Academy senior Cary Beahm scored 26 points in the Lady Warriors to their first season win on Thursday.

Tidewater defeated Windsor High School 64-34 and improved to 1-1 after the non-conference game.

Tidewater went 16-of-20 from the free-throw line.

Leaders for the winners were Beahm with 11 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals; senior Falon Williams added 11 points and 7 rebounds. Sophomore Taylor Pruitt scored 12 points. Junior Samantha Dunn added 5 rebounds and 4 assists.

Top scorers for the Lady Dukes were Essence Santiago with 7 points. Taquesha Harris added 6 points and Macayla Servais added 5.

“Our young ladies played hard and played with great effort all game,” said Windsor Coach Chuck Parrish. “Our execution will get better each game.”

The Lady Warriors will host Brunswick Academy at 7:30 p.m. today, Nov. 30, while the Lady Dukes will host Southampton High School at 7 p.m. today.
