GOOCHLAND—Windsor trailed 14-7 at the half, but went on to lose 55-7 to Goochland High School during the first round of the Virginia High School League Group A Division 2 Eastern region playoffs on Friday night.

“They (Goochland) came out the second half and played hard,” said Windsor Head Coach Chuck Parrish. “We made a couple of mistakes, but our kids played hard the whole game.”

The Dukes came into the game as No. 15 seed of the playoffs with a 3-7 overall record, while the Bulldogs came in as the No. 2 seed with an 8-2 overall record. The loss ended the Dukes’ season.
