COURTLAND—Southampton Academy’s volleyball team lost to Virginia Commonwealth Conference foe Richmond Christian 3-0 on Monday.

Set scores were 25-17, 25-18, 25-17.

The Lady Raiders fell to 8-4 overall and 7-2 in the VCC.

“We are not where we need to be,” said SA Coach Frank Seal. “They were a good team, just a little better than us.”

SA at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, will host Kenston Forest.
