COURTLAND—The Southampton High School volleyball team remains undefeated in the Southside District after defeating Prince Edward 3-0 on Thursday at home.
Set scores were 25-13, 25-21, 25-19.
The girls improved to 4-0 in the district and 12-2 overall.
“Despite only playing in two sets, juniors Madeleine Kahle and Madison Cabell recorded 15 and 9 kills, respectively,” said SHS Coach Chad Brock.
Junior Grayson Drake recorded 12 assists and junior Sam Billups added 10.
“Serving was our nemesis tonight,” Brock said. “We missed way too many serves at critical times. We will definitely be working on that before next week.”
The Lady Indians will travel to Greensville for a 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, match.
