WINDSOR—Jessica Blythe had 17 assists to help Windsor defeat Sussex Central during its Tri-Rivers District opener on Tuesday.

Set scores were 25-11, 25-16, and 25-19.

Also for Windsor, Allison Griggs was 13-for-13 while serving and had 6 aces and 2 kills. Teammate Patyon Gay added 7 kills, and Abby Haring and Kellie Matthews each made 4 kills. Kelsey Shaffer had 7 aces.

Windsor improved to 4-5 overall and will travel to District rival Franklin for a 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, game.
