WINDSOR—Southampton High School junior Madison Cabell on Monday reached her 100th kill of the season to help the Lady Indians defeat Windsor 3-0.
Cabell made six kills in the non-district match.
Set scores were 25-20, 25-15, 25-21.
“We didn’t play our best tonight, but did enough to get by,” said Southampton Coach Chad Brock. “That is not going to take us very far. We have to learn to push ourselves. Other than in the second set we never got into the match tonight.”
Helping Cabell reach her 100th were junior setters Sam Billups and Grayson Drake. Each had 10 assists for a total of 116 and 123, respectively, on the season.
Junior Madeleine Kahle added seven kills to move to 98 on the season.
The Lady Indians junior varsity squad won 2-0 with set scores of 25-5 and 25-15. Sophomore Megan Duck led with 13 aces.
