WAKEFIELD—Tidewater Academy baseball Coach Paul Rogers hopes his third-ranked team can still make the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association state baseball tournament after a 15-3 loss to Blessed Sacrament Huguenot in the Virginia Commonwealth Conference quarterfinals.

The Warriors at 13-6 overall next week will learn if they are one of the top eight teams to make the playoffs.
