IWA soccer takes 6-5 win over BSH

ISLE OF WIGHT—Isle of Wight Academy eighth-grader Justin Cobb scored three goals during the Chargers’ 6-5 win over Blessed Sacrament Huguenot on Thursday.

Junior Nathan Silvertson added two goals and freshman Josh Weihe one.

The Chargers improved to 5-3-1 in the conference. A win on Friday would put them in second place, said Coach Caren Moore. Results were not available as of press time.

The tournament opens Monday, May 7. A win means the Chargers will get a bye in the first round of the tournament and host Fuqua at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 9.
