CHESTERFIELD—Tidewater Academy’s softball team beat Virginia Commonwealth Conference foe Richmond Christian 10-2 Thursday.

Eighth-grade catcher Brittany Wade went 3-for-3 in the win with three runs scored, two doubles and two RBIs. Teammate Taylor Pruitt went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and Falon Williams was the winning pitcher.

TA improved to 4-6 and 2-5 in the VCC.

The Lady Warriors will take on Windsor at 4:30 p.m. Monday, April 23, in Windsor.
