COURTLAND—Park View came from behind to defeat Southampton High School’s soccer team 4-1 on Wednesday in a Southside District match.

Southampton’s Johhny Tribbett scored the first goal and his sixth of the season. Park View followed with two in the first half and two in the second half.

“We played well at times but didn’t create very many scoring chances,” said SHS Coach Scott Edwards. “They played an offside trap and caught us offside about a dozen times. Park View is probably the team to beat in the Southside District, so the result last night isn’t that bad.”

SHS goalie David Strozier had eight saves.
