WAKEFIELD—Junior Tidewater Academy softball pitcher Falon Williams struck out 11 batters and gave up three hits in a 9-0 win over Portsmouth Christian Friday.
Williams also hit a triple and scored two runs.
“She probably had the best pitching performance of her career,” said Coach Brent Lowe.
Williams has pitched every game this season due to an injury to backup pitcher Taylor Pruitt.
Sophomore Kristen Buhls went two-for-four with two RBIs while junior Tyler Stephenson went two-for-three with two runs and a stolen base.
Junior Cary Beahm scored two runs on one-for-three hitting for the Lady Warriors.
