SMITHFIELD—Southampton High School goalie David Strozier made 15 saves during a 5-0 loss to Smithfield Tuesday.

“We had two starters out of the match,” said SHS Coach Scott Edwards. “We had two injuries during the match, and one player sent off for a handball during the match.”

“We don’t play again until next Thursday (at 5:30 p.m. March 29 at Franklin), so maybe we will be healthy and at full strength for that match,” Edwards added.

The junior varsity squad lost 7-0.
