Buehner struck out three, walked one and hit one batter.

The Lady Indians defeated Windsor 12-1 on Thursday.

A double play and a Duke caught stealing erased two base runners for Windsor, who never had a player reach second base.

The Lady Indians banged out 17 hits, including six doubles. Eight of nine starters had hits.

Southampton was able to ten-run the Dukes, putting up three runs in the first and third innings, and single runs in the second and fourth innings. The Lady Indians had three straight hits in the bottom of the fifth, but only needed a pair of runs to finish off the Dukes, 10-0.

Courtney Greene went three-for-three, with two runs batted in and a run scored. DeMoné Brickhouse and Kaylee Edwards both went three-for-four with a pair of singles, a double and three runs scored each.

The Lady Indians are 2-0 and will host Franklin at 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 27.
