WINDSOR—Southampton High School junior Emily Nelson hit a single, two doubles, a triple, and scored four runs to help the Lady Indians softball team defeat Windsor 12-1 in five innings Thursday.

Southampton had 20 hits against the Lady Dukes in the non-league game, including an inside-the-park home run from senior Ashlee Buehner.

Also for the Lady Indians, senior Katie Ferguson went two-for-five, freshman Cortney Greene three-for-four, Buehner two-for-three and DeMone’ Brickhouse three-for-three.
