CHESAPEAKE—The Isle of Wight Academy girls’ basketball team saw its season end Thursday with a 41-40 loss to Stonebridge in the first round of the Metro Athletic Conference Tournament at Atlantic Shores Christian Academy.

IWA took a 20-16 lead at halftime before being outscored by Stonebridge 25-20 in the second half.

The Lady Chargers finished the year at 12-13 overall.
