TA puts down Lady Dukes

WINDSOR—The Tidewater Academy girls took a 42-27 non-conference win Tuesday over host Windsor High School.
Cary Beahm led all scorers with 15 points and six rebounds for the win. Teammate Falon Williams added 10 points and grabbed four boards.
Tina Pawls led the Lady Dukes with nine points while teammate Maurica Bynum added eight points.
The Lady Warriors move to 11-5 overall and 8-2 in the Virginia Commonwealth Conference, while Windsor falls to 1-11.
Tidewater Academy travels to Southampton Academy at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30.
Windsor hosts Charles City at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27.
