Tidewater Academy wins ninth game of season

WAKEFIELD—Cary Beahm scored 21 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to help lift Tidewater Academy over Kenston Forest 45-30.
The Lady Warriors moved to 9-4 overall and 7-2 in the Virginia Commonwealth Conference.
Taylor Pruitt added 13 points and Falon Williams grabbed 10 rebounds in the win.
The Lady Warriors led the Lady Kavaliers 16-4 in the first quarter, 15-8 in the second and 12-9 in the fourth quarter. Kenston Forest took the third quarter 6-5.
The Lady Warriors travel to Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17.
