WAKEFIELD—The Lady Warriors lost 47-26 to Nansemond-Suffolk Academy in the championship game of the Tidewater Academy Christmas Tournament Tuesday.

All-tournament selection Cary Beahm scored 14 points in the loss while all-tournament selection Lady Warrior Falon Williams had eight rebounds.

Tournament MVP Sarah Baldwin scored 12 points in the victory, while Jessica Pieroni added 11 points and all-tournament selection Harper Birdsong had eight.

The loss drops TA to 5-3 overall and 3-1 in the Virginia Commonwealth Conference.

The Tidewater Academy girls will host Brunswick Academy at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 2.
