COURTLAND—TaLisha Jenkins scored a game-high 12 points to lead Southampton High School to a 59-34 win over visiting Franklin on Tuesday night.

De’Mone Brickhouse added 10 points in the win.

Franklin’s Janesha Hurdle led the Broncos with 12 points. Breia Walloe added 9.

Southampton led 13-8 at the end of the first quarter and 24-11 at the half. At the end of the third quarter, the Lady Indians held on to a 41-22 lead.

In free throws, Franklin was five-for-seven and Southampton 10-for-13. Franklin committed 15 fouls and Southampton 14.

In the junior varsity match, Southampton won 31-30. Leading the scoring for Franklin was Latrina Cross with seven points. Jayla Cross and Zhane Riddick added five points and five rebounds each.
