Lee Waller Sebrell McDaniel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Raymond McDaniel Jr. of Courtland, was married on Oct. 22, 2011, to Pierre Antonin Lelong IV, son of Armetta Gilmore Lelong of Richmond and the late Chaffraix Andre Lelong.

The Rev. James W. Browder III performed the ceremony at St. Luke’s Church in Courtland, the same church where the bride’s grandmother was married in 1920.

The bride’s grandparents are Elizabeth Page Sebrell Johnson of New York and William Waller Johnson of Virginia Beach, and the late James Raymond McDaniel and Janie Theo Smith McDaniel.

A reception followed at Franklin’s Cypress Cove Country Club.

The bride’s attendant was her niece, Victoria Sebrell Slater of Greenwich, Conn.

The groom’s best man was his brother in-law, Raymond Taylor Waller of Richmond.

The new Mrs. Lelong attended St. Mary’s Episcopal School in Raleigh, N.C., and graduated from Mount Vernon College in Washington with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is employed by Wells Fargo Bank in Richmond.

Her husband graduated from Collegiate School and the University of Virginia with a bachelor’s degree in government. He was a member of Zeta Psi fraternity. He is a department manager at Jos. A. Bank Clothiers in Richmond.

The Lelongs live in Richmond.
