COURTLAND—Southampton improved its season record to 9-0 and Southside District standings to 2-0 after defeating Park view 3-0.

Game scores for the Lady Indians were 25-23, 25-13, 25-17.

District foe Park View fell to 10-7 overall and 0-2 in the district.

For Southampton, Marisa Cabell had 14 kills and four blocks; Kaylee Edwards, 10 kills and four aces; and Candace Earls, 17 assists and three kills.

For Park View, Dare Wright had one ace and four kills and Kassidy Moore made two kills and one ace.
