KING WILLIAM—King William’s soccer team defeated Windsor 6-0 in the Region A quarterfinal on Tuesday.
The loss means the end to the Dukes’ season, while King William advanced to host Northampton.
“King William played a great game,” said Windsor Coach Matt Burgess. “They had excellent passing and offense, and our defense couldn’t keep them out. At the same time, our offense couldn’t get any decent shots past their defense/keeper.”
Windsor’s Ryan Brant had three shots and Eli Trantham had two. Keeper Blake Allen had 18 saves.
Windsor was 5-10-1 for the season.
