YORK—Southampton High School senior Ronnie Powell won the 100-meter dash at the Region 1 Track Meet at York High School on Thursday.

Powell took second in the 200-meter dash, losing to the first-place runner by .02 seconds. She also took sixth in the 400-meter dash.

Also participating in the meet for the Indians were Kirstyn Andrew and Brian Draper in the 800-meter run; Ashton Holland in the 400-meter dash; Treshawn Chappell, Gavin Feriancek, Jarvis Staten and Devine Fenner in the 4- by 400-meter relay; and Joseph Miles, Draper, Jeff Raiford and Justin McHenry in the 4- by 800-meter relay.
